"Phone Meeting between Professor Chhang Ra, Minister of Health of Cambodia, and Dr. Saia Ma’u Piukala, Regional Director of the World Health Organization-Western Pacific Regional Office"
On the afternoon of Monday, August 18th, 2025, His Excellency Professor Chhang Ra, Minister of Health, held a phone meeting with His Excellency Dr. Saia Ma’u Piukala, Regional Director of the World Health Organization (WHO) -Western Pacific Regional Office, to discuss regional-level health cooperation.
His Excellency Minister expressed his deep gratitude to the WHO Western Pacific Regional Office and to WHO Cambodia for their urgent assistance, including the provision of medicines and medical equipment, to support the Ministry of Health in addressing the needs of citizens affected by the recent armed incursions along the Cambodia–Thailand border.
