Manila, Republic of the Philippines: On Monday, 19 October 2026, H.E. Prof. Chheang Ra, Minister of Health, led the Ministry of Health delegation to participate in the Opening Ceremony of the 77th Session of the World Health Organization Regional Committee for the Western Pacific, held under the theme “Weaving Health for All.”
A total of 38 Member States and territories, including Cambodia, convened for the annual meeting to hear progress reports from the region as well as from each Member State. The gathering aims to define priority strategies for addressing challenges at both regional and national levels, and to endorse the three year budget plan (2027–2029) for the Regional Office and country offices.
